Every time one of the grand kids turns eight years old and is baptized, Grandpa takes them on a hike to Camel back mountain. Bailey and Hayden have each gotten to go, and in three years Avery will get to go. Grandpa tells them that hiking is like being baptized, there is a trail you follow, just like the Holy Ghost, and if you stay on the right path the Holy Ghost will always be with you...but if you don't follow the trail, and stay on the path, then you can get lost or go astray, and its hard for the Holy Ghost to be with you. Grandpa has always been a big part of my little ducklings life, I am so thankful for his love and example he shows to the kids. WE LOVE YOU PAPA!!
